COACHING
Each Cyclones age group is led by a dedicated head coach with extensive playing and coaching experience. Our coaching staff includes current and former high school coaches, as well as former collegiate and professional players, all committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential. Assistant coaches—many with high school and college playing experience—provide additional instruction and mentorship, ensuring every player receives individualized attention and development.
In addition to our team coaches, the Cyclones offer specialized instruction from dedicated pitching, catching, and hitting coaches who work with players across all age groups. Our athletes also benefit from training and mentoring opportunities with Cyclones alumni and local collegiate players, giving them valuable exposure to advanced instruction and role models who have successfully advanced to the next level.
Coach Eddy
Program Director
Eddy Kleinhans has dedicated his life to developing young athletes and growing the game of baseball throughout the East Bay. His coaching journey began in 1994 while attending UC Berkeley and has included building one of Northern California's largest Little League programs, serving more than 20 years on the Berkeley Albany Little League Board of Directors, and mentoring thousands of young players, coaches, and families. In 2012, Eddy established the East Bay Cyclones with the vision of creating a player-first program that would provide year-round development, exceptional coaching, and opportunities for athletes to reach their full potential. Watching our players grow from young ballplayers into successful adults has been the greatest reward of his coaching career.
